We are a dynamic fresh produce processing business, supplying high-quality fruit and vegetables to food service providers across the region. Our newly established Brisbane facility is fast-paced, energetic, and committed to delivering freshness and quality in every pack.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead operations across production, logistics and customer service.

👷‍♀️ About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Production Manager will oversee all aspects of daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent manufacturing practices. You will lead diverse teams, drive operational improvements and efficiencies, uphold quality, safety and compliance standards. This is a hands-on senior leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is proactive in solving complex situations and challenges.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production and warehousing staff to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.

· Build a positive, safety-focused culture that promotes capability development and accountability

· Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production scheduling, workflow coordination, and labour planning.

· Manage recruitment, training, development and performance of production staff.

· Organise and plan large multishift team rosters.

· Maintain compliance with all food safety, HACCP, SQF regulations.

· Capture and analyse data to report on manufacturing efficiencies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

· Manage raw materials, inventory, billing of materials, distribution and logistics.

· Manage all maintenance and servicing of machinery and equipment.

· Work closely with quality teams to support audits, documentation, traceability and continuous improvement.

About You

You are an experienced leader with a strong background in food manufacturing or FMCG production. You bring a proactive, organised approach, strong people-management skills, and the ability to influence performance at all levels of business.

You will also demonstrate:

· Extensive experience in food manufacturing, specifically in fresh produce.

· Strong leadership, team management skills and the capacity to influence people to initiate and deliver change.

· Experience with QA, HACCP, food systems and compliance.

· Good understanding in data analysis and reporting.

· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work strategically.

· Skills in production planning and workflow coordination.

· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.

· A general understanding of mechanical processing machines and equipment is advantageous.

Qualification Required

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant qualifications in Production, Business, or Management, as well as those who demonstrate strong organisational and leadership capabilities.

Salary Package

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package ranging from AUD 78,000–85,000 per annum, plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and skills.
