About the position
We are looking for our next Flavour Chemistry Technician to:
-Assist in the design & development of our natural flavours (preparing & mixing of raw materials)
-Analyse & evaluate the quality of our natural flavours performing blind tastings & physico-chemical analysis (by conducting relevant laboratory tests)
-Support Flavourist into conducting experiments & tests on existing flavours & raw materials (e.g. shelf-life study, stability, solubility…)
-Promote flavour range by sampling customers with the best suited solutions to their need
-Maintain our database of raw materials’ documentation (inc. specs, SDS, certifications…)
-Collecting production samples for evaluation & quality control
-Participate in the management of the laboratory supply & good working practices
-Assist production teams in troubleshooting manufacturing issues
-Ensure compliance with GMP & food safety management system
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science specialized in Chemistrywith strong emphasis on food science
- Training, or other diploma in food flavours is a strong addition to your application
- At least 2 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory environment
- Previous work experience as a flavour chemistry technician will be highly considered
- Good communication skills
