HS CONSORTIUM CAPITAL ADVISORY P/L is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Investment Adviser to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. As a Financial Investment Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert financial guidance to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through tailored investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Assessment and Financial Planning:
    • Conduct in-depth interviews with prospective clients to thoroughly assess their financial status, goals, and risk tolerance.
    • Develop customized financial plans and investment strategies that align with clients' risk profiles and objectives, setting clear financial goals and outlining steps to achieve them.
  2. Investment Management:
    • Monitor investment performance regularly, reviewing and revising investment plans based on changes in clients' circumstances or market conditions.
    • Provide informed recommendations on buying and selling securities to optimize clients' investment portfolios.
  3. Insurance and Asset Protection:
    • Recommend appropriate insurance cover to safeguard clients' assets and assist them in understanding the nuances of different insurance products.
  4. Fund Management:
    • Manage funds from personal superannuation savings policies and unit trusts, ensuring investments maximize returns while effectively managing risks.
  5. Collaboration and Referrals:
    • Refer clients to other organizations for services not provided by HS CONSORTIUM CAPITAL ADVISORY P/L and coordinate with other financial institutions to ensure clients receive comprehensive financial services.
  6. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all financial advice and transactions comply with relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Master's degree in Business with a major in Banking and Finance from a reputable institution such as Monash University, with a strong foundation in relevant core courses.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial advisory roles, including corporate banking or similar high-level positions.
  3. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and fluency in English.
  4. High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
