This is a role for someone who wants more than just another Financial Controller position. Our client is a rapidly expanding automotive group with strong brands, increasing scale, and a clear strategy to build a multi-site operation across South Australia. Based in the Barossa region, you will take ownership of financial operations for a growing dealership group, with potential oversight of additional sites as the business expands into Port Adelaide and beyond. Working closely with an engaged Dealer Principal, you will play a key role in supporting growth, improving systems, and driving commercial outcomes across the business.
In this position, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across the operation. You will also focus on cost control, process improvement, and delivering meaningful financial insights to support decision-making. This is a hands-on role where your ability to implement structure, improve performance, and support a multi-site operation will have a direct and visible impact.
The ideal candidate will bring experience as a Financial Controller or be a strong senior accountant ready to step into a broader role. Automotive dealership experience will be highly regarded, along with CPA or CA qualifications and a strong understanding of multi-site operations. You will be commercially minded, detail-oriented, and capable of working across multiple locations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability.
