About the Role
This is a hybrid position combining both management accounting and financial accounting responsibilities, offering variety, ownership and real impact within the business. Working closely with senior leadership and project teams, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring strong financial governance across their projects and operations.

- Assist with the month end process, GL reconciliations, BAS returns to ensure compliance with deadlines
- Performing general ledger and account reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and accounting standards
- Assisting with monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Assist in data preparation and collation required by Accountants for auditing purposes
- Assist with annual audits
- Assist with project and overhead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support preparation of monthly management pack
- Present detailed monthly financial reports to managers
- Prepare feedback to AP Team on incorrect coding
- Lead preparation of weekly project cost tracker
- Update tax related paperwork for tax compliance lodgement
- Assist real-time financial performance monitoring
- Escalate any financial issues to management
- Manage a small payroll
About you
- Happy to work fully onsite - street parking is available
- Previous experience within construction industry - advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders
