About the Role
Chargrill Charlie’s Lane Cove is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fast Food Manager to
oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced store. The successful candidate will lead a team of
front and back-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure product quality, and
maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Hire, train, and supervise team members to maintain a high standard of performance.
Plan and manage staff rosters and shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.
Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Track daily sales, set budgets, and control operating costs with a focus on food waste
reduction.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate stock records.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, cleanliness, and safety regulations.
Monitor the preparation and presentation of food to maintain consistency and quality.
Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement marketing strategies that
drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer retention.
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a fast food or quick service restaurant management
role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Experience in staff training and performance management.
Qualifications
Certificate IV or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
