This role is perfect for a driven professional ready to contribute and tackle high-profile local projects. Leading engineering firm in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Façade Engineer with a passion for innovative design and sustainable construction.
The Opportunity:
- You will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and detailing façade systems from concept through construction.
- Working closely with architects, project managers, and contractors, you will help bring visionary designs to life, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards in performance, safety, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and technical analysis of complex façade systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align façade design with overall project vision.
- Ensuring strict adherence to local codes and international standards, with a focus on safety and sustainability.
- Pioneering advancements in materials and technologies, optimizing for thermal performance, acoustics, and durability.
Ideally you will have:
- A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 4+ years of experience in façade engineering, with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Expertise in façade systems and materials, including glass, aluminum, and stone.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools (Navisworks advantageous).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across disciplines.
