EVENT LABOURERS AND FORKLIFT DRIVERS
Event season is back, and we’re looking for event labourers and forklift drivers with counterbalance experience to join our team!
We have exciting opportunities available to work for various exhibitions, shows, concerts and events for Labourers and Forklift Drivers, to help in setting up, packing up, and staging shows. Working at prestigious venues like International Convention Centre and the Sydney Showgrounds.
Labourers
Duties include:
- Spotting forklift drivers
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment
- Installation and dismantle of exhibition stands and panels
- Hand and power tools use
- Laying carpet tiles
- General warehouse duties
Forklift drivers
Duties include:
- Operating counterbalance forklifts to load, unload and distribute freight
- Transporting large and oversized freight across the site
- Assisting in the set-up and dismantling of exhibition stands, equipment, and infrastructure
- Ensuring the safe operation of forklifts and adherence to all safety standards
Forklift drivers will be loading and unloading a variety of ugly/awkward/over-sized freight.
What we’re looking for:
- FORKLIFT DRIVERS MUST HAVE VALID - FORKLIFT TICKET
- Eagerness to work, with proven reliability and great presentation
- Access to high-vis work attire and steel cap boots
- Exhibition crews with hand and power tools experience
- Relevant work licenses and certificates for the position
- Unrestricted working rights within Australia
