Who You Are
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities – Instrumentation & Electrical Systems
Install, maintain, and repair electronic instrumentation and control systems used in industrial and commercial environments.
Diagnose faults in electronic instruments, sensors, and control systems using specialised testing equipment.
Install and configure measuring and monitoring devices such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
Calibrate instrumentation and control systems to ensure accurate measurement and optimal performance.
Inspect, test, and commission electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control circuits and identify faults in PLC-based or automated systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and instrumentation specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of instrumentation and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and calibration results.
Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety regulations and relevant electrical standards.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an Electronic Instrument Trades Worker or similar.
Strong knowledge of electronic instrumentation systems, sensors, control equipment, and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
High attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and compliance with industry standards.
What We Offer
Full-time, permanent position.
Competitive salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year (depending on experience).
