Electrician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrician to support our growing workload across various project sites.

Key Duties:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
2. Perform fault finding and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
3. Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
4. Measure, mark, and plan layout of electrical installations
5. Select, cut, and connect cables, wires, and components
6. Ensure all electrical work complies with Australian standards and safety regulations
7. Conduct testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems
8. Install switchboards, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems
9. Work on residential and commercial electrical projects
10. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
11. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
12. Liaise with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Skills & Requirements:

1. Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent)
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
3. Valid electrical license or eligibility to obtain a license in VIC
4. Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
6. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
7. Physically fit and able to work in various environments
8. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Commitment to workplace safety practices
