Electrician

• Full-time permanent position
• $47-$58 per hour + super
• Day Roster option
  • Monday to Friday 8 hour days - 6am start daily
  • Rotations Monday to Thursday /Tuesday to Friday (4 days per week x 10 hour days) – 6 am start daily
• As much or as little overtime available at penalty rates

Our client is a well-known global leader in remanufacturing mining equipment, with a strong focus on quality, safety and performance. Due to growth, we’re seeking qualified Fitters to join their team. Within this role you will be workshop based and responsible for overhauling, repairing, maintenance and service of mining equipment and components, more specifically mining haul trucks.   
 
The role:
 

• Carry out maintenance and repairs to components / fleet of large mobile plant
• Carry out component overhauls to REPL and OEM Standards
• Complete cable route, termination and segregation
• Complete service reports and identify parts requirements
• Working in small teams to achieve deadlines
• Perform Risk Assessments for every task, maintaining and focusing on safe work practices and a safe work environment
• Demonstrated capacity to interpret hydraulic and electric schematics and learn new systems, methods and technologies.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 
 
What we're looking for:
 
 

• A electrical license with experience working on mobile mining equipment.
• Previous experience on Industrial Electrical systems, PLMs, Switchboards and cabling.
• Previous experience on GE AC & DC Drive Systems or Komatsu Electric Drive Trucks.
• Forklift licence
• Experience with Pronto Business Software and TRELLO Software
• Excellent communication skills up and down organizational structure
• Strong planning, organizational and follow up skills
• Excellent people and process management skills
• Be experienced installation of equipment with the ability for fault finding
• Experience working on mining equipment and trucks highly favourable
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Assembly and disassembly of components
• Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Reliability and Punctual
• Strong focus and commitment to Safety with the ability to follow Policies and Procedures 
• Drivers licence
