We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineering Draftsperson to join our team in Kirrawee, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Produce electrical layouts, schematics and diagrams for switchboards and control panels
- Assist engineers and project managers with electrical system design and drafting
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant Australian Standards, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on project changes, engineering feedback, and site conditions.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate documentation for installation and fabrication.
- Maintain drawing registers and documentation throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or higher
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, switchboards, and control panels.
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and electrical regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
