About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer / Engineering Technologist to support the repair, diagnostics, testing, and improvement of industrial electrical and rotating equipment. The role involves working closely with workshop technicians, field service teams, and customers to ensure reliable and efficient operation of equipment serviced by MNP Electrical.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical faults and analyse equipment failures
- Provide technical support to workshop and field technicians
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and repair recommendations
- Support maintenance and repair of motors, generators, transformers, pumps, and blowers
- Assist with the evaluation and repair of industrial gearboxes and drive systems
- Participate in customer technical discussions and project support
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering or equipment servicing
- Strong knowledge of electrical machines and diagnostics
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Work Environment
This role combines office-based engineering work, workshop technical support, and occasional site visits for inspection and commissioning.
