Make a Difference - Education Support Trainee
Do you want to make a positive impact in the lives of young students? We're looking for a dedicated person to join our team as an Education Support Trainee at a secondary school in Preston.
In this role, you'll work closely with students and teachers to provide care, help and support in the classroom. Main responsibilities include:
- Helping teachers with planning student routines
- Talking with students to support understanding tasks
- Addressing immediate behavioral needs of students
- Providing basic physical and emotional care for students who may have physical, intellectual and or disabilities.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Working with Children Check
- Great communication and people skills
- Patience, compassion and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- The capability to provide physical and emotional support to students
- Willingness to complete a Cert III in Education Support
