Who We Are

Kidz Galore is a respected, local provider of childcare services, providing early childhood education for children aged 0-5 years. Established in 1995, Kidz Galore is owned by three families. Several positions available located on multiple centres across Perth region.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Teachers who promote children's education through their interests and plan learning opportunities therefrom. You will foster children's curiosity and create opportunities for children to grow and explore in small groups.

The ideal candidate will value the wonder of early learning within our upcycled learning environments and guide staff in providing a fun, safe, high-quality service that aligns with the National Quality Standards and is true to Kidz Galore’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide a safe and stimulating environment that meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of children and promotes their agency, choices, and influence.
  2. Deliver effective and valuable documentation of children’s learning in accordance with the centre philosophy and the Learning Outcomes of the EYLF
  3. Model and support other educators to utilise a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work
  4. Develop and maintain respectful, supportive, collaborative and responsive relationships with children
  5. Facilitate and develop programs to encourage growth in communication and language skills including organizing various group-based activities.
  6. Liaise with families and discuss of each child’s development with parents and implementation of family support programs for early childhood development
  7. Attend professional development opportunities and network meeting as appropriate or as directed by director/coordinator
  8. Stay informed about the current trends in policy changes within the sector and assist in developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures in accordance with the NQS and National Law, considering confidentiality.
  9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and the development and maintenance of the service quality improvement plan, as directed by the director/coordinator and educational leader.
  10. Supervise student teachers on placement if required.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification (or equivalent)
  2. At least 12 months experience in early childhood teaching role (preferred)
  3. Current WA Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  4. Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate. or willingness to obtain
  5. Medically fit to work within a childcare environment
  6. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and professional quality care
  7. A great work ethic and communication skills with the ability to be proactive and take initiative.

We offer competitive remuneration based on skills and experience (salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum)
