Diesel Mechanic

AMAA Mechanical Pty requires Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic in Sunshine West Victoria.

Our Workshop is providing services to fleet companies. We have safe clean and healthy work environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We seek experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Service Teams at Sunshine West.

The successful applicant will be responsible for;

*Diagnostic and preventative maintenance and initiatives.

*Attend breakdown where required.

*Assist in workshop with fellow employees.

*Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working

environment for yourself and others.

*Perform quality and timely general servicing and maintenance of vehicles in required time.

* Dismantle and remove engine parts, repair or replace defective parts, and reassemble.

*Conduct fault diagnosis and perform repair.

* Dismantle and remove engine parts, repair or replace defective parts, and reassemble.

*Detect and diagnose faults in engines and components.

*Undertake general repair of suspension and steering components.

*Identify and conduct repair work on engines and parts and Test run and check vehicle performance after repair.

*Respond promptly to calls and attend vehicle breakdown services.

*Carry out brake repairs, Provide maintenance services, such as oil changes and engine tune-ups.

*Experienced in dismantling and assembling in Gearbox.

* Should be able to work independently and requires minimum supervision.

*Should have basic knowledge of Electrical.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

*Should hold Trade Certificate in Heavy Commercial Vehicle.

*Relevant work experience as a diesel mechanic highly desirable'

*Strong knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems.

*Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.

* Effective communication skills.

*Strong work ethics

*Valid driver's license (manual), MR or HR license would be advantageous.

Candidates must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
