Wireless Technology company seeking DevOps Engineer to join Sydney based R&D Centre
DevOps Engineer | Python, Anisble | Telco | Sydney
HAYS have partnered with a mid-sized telecommunications / wireless networking company in their search for a DevOps Engineer. The company has international presence, though it still operates very much like a fast-paced startup after experiencing significant growth in the past 5 years.The company has a broad client base within a highly lucrative marketplace so this is a very good option for someone who wants a long-term role with genuine career progression. You'll worth with a dynamic, sociable team who are extremely passionate about their work and are real innovators within the industry.
The role
- DevOps Engineer role within Sydney based R&D facility
- Report to the Engineering Manager, developing and automating real-time voice and data soft switching technology
- Work on solutions which provide to industries such as; Utilities, Public Services & Defence
- Work in a lean, fast paced team
Experience required
- The company is looking for a highly adaptable, solutions focussed DevOps / Automation Engineer
- Computer Science Degree (will consider communications or electronics)
- Expert in development; Ansible, Python, RestAPI, SQL
- Ideally experience in one of the following; wireless networking, telecommunications, VoIP
- GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube
- Proven experience building REST APIs communicating with a backend Database (MySQL/Galera)
- Ability to produce systems engineering documentation, including software requirements, software design and software test plans
