We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Cook (ANZSCO 351411) to join our team on a full-time basis.
Position Overview
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food in accordance with established recipes and kitchen standards. You will work as part of a team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintain food safety standards, and deliver consistent quality dishes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
·Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with menu requirements
·Examine ingredients to ensure quality and freshness
·Operate and regulate cooking equipment, including ovens and grills
·Season and cook food to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
·Portion, plate, and present food with appropriate garnishes and sauces
·Store food in line with temperature control and food safety standards
·Assist with preparation of meals for special dietary requirements
·Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas
·Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory control
·Support kitchen operations during service periods
·Provide guidance to junior staff as required
Skills & Qualifications Required
- AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is highly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen
- Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and teamwork skills

Salary: AUD $79,500 – $84,500 per annum plus Superannuation
