Construction Project Manager

Focused Facilities Management is a fast-growing firm providing facilities management services to some of Melbourne's premium residential and commercial developments offering top-notch concierge and security services; maintenance of essential (life safety) services and non-essential services including waste management plans, car park maintenance, gym and pool maintenance; and commercial cleaning, that allow buildings and precincts to operate effectively.

Focused Facilities Management based in North Melbourne is looking to employ a Construction Project Manager to join their team

Salary $93,500 + Superannuation

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

1.Australian or equivalent Bachelor of Engineering Majoring in Civil Engineering.

2.A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Construction Project Management with an Australian Company.

3.Experience of working in a Facilities Management Environment will be preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Leading the coordination and prioritisation of resources across projects contracted by the company
  2. assessing and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications for each project
  3. coordinating resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
  4. consulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers
  5. managing links between projects and monitoring overall time, costs, quality, budget and risk
  6. negotiating with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle
  7. developing tenders and contract bids
  8. managing and monitoring adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety
  9. managing submission of plans to local authorities and liaising with stakeholders to undertake relevant inspections throughout the project
  10. leading and managing human resources including subcontractors, standards, progress and delivery of project and program requirements
  11. managing change and implementation of projects and programs
  12. establishing and managing project plans to ensure alignment with program strategic goals and project outcomes
