Launch Recruitment have partnered with a leading Australian consultancy known for delivering impactful solutions in the data and AI space and are seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team in a permanent role here in Melbourne.
Whether your background is in AWS, GCP, or Azure, this role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of cloud environments, contribute to innovative client projects, and grow your skills within a dynamic and supportive team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, build and manage cloud foundational services (VPC, IAM, Compute, GKE, VNets, etc.)
- Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure
- Drive cloud security best practices and governance controls
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-value outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Strong experience in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- A team-first mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients
- Passion for continual improvement – of systems, processes, and people
- Full Australian working rights are essential (citizenship or PR required)
