They are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Civil Engineers to join their North Queensland Offices across Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Rockhampton.
Your new role
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a critical role in engineering design, project management, and site supervision. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will work on a diverse range of urban and regional infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

Undertaking engineering design, calculations, and documentation for civil infrastructure projects. Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantity, and ensuring accurate project reporting. Monitoring project performance, including time management and budget tracking. Conducting site inspections and acting as the site engineer during construction phases. Collaborating with government agencies, private developers, and internal teams to ensure project success. Working towards Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) membership for career advancement. Adhering to industry standards and quality assurance processes.

What you'll need to succeed

A strong background in civil engineering with a tertiary qualification and proven experience in project management. Experience working in a consultancy environment. Proficiency in engineering design and documentation, including cost estimations and technical reporting. Experience in site inspections and construction supervision. Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor project performance and efficiency. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, ensuring collaboration with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. A proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and project execution. RPEQ is highly desired or commitment to professional development, including working towards RPEQ membership.
