An opportunity now exists for an experienced finance professional to join the organisation as CFO to lead, drive and manage the full finance function.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the Group as well as additional associated businesses. Duties will include:
- Providing overall financial oversight for the Group, including ensuring that all relevant accounting standards and legislation is adhered to
- Preparing, reviewing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting as well as preparing Board reporting and presenting at Board meetings
- Leading the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing rolling forecasts
- Overseeing treasury, liquidity, CAPEX and various business drivers to support decision making
- Working with key individuals to develop scenario modelling and decision analysis to support strategic and commercial development opportunities
- Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
- Managing and overseeing all cash flow requirements and risk management
- Working in conjunction with other key individuals to oversee banking arrangements
- Leading the establishment, review and ongoing management of financial policies, procedures and internal controls and contribute to governance reporting as required
- Acting as a business partner to the Group Operations Manager to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic goals
- Leading and mentor a finance team to foster a high-performance culture
About You
- Full CA or CPA memberships as well as a strong background in financial leadership positions
- Strong working knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation and corporate governance requirements
- Experience in complex supply chain will be highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail, strong financial acumen and comfortable acting as the key finance representative to the board
- Collaborative style and previous experience working closely with non-financial leaders to achieve strategic outcomes
- Occasional interstate travel will be required
