Our client Angelo’s Cabarita restaurant is looking to fulfil a position of a chef immediately at Cabarita NSW 2137.
The successful candidate will be undertaking the following duties:
· Develop menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage the procurement of food supplies
· Oversee and maintain the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation
· Liaise with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and service staff to address food preparation matters
· Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures
· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established standards
· Ensure compliance with and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations
· Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of kitchen staff
· Undertake food preservation processes, including freezing and storage
Requirements
- Relevant Australian diploma or higher in the industry
- More than 3 years of work experience
- Punctual
- Team player
