Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare menus in collaboration with management.
2. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.
3. Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control.
4. Manage stock levels and order supplies as required.
5. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
6. Supervise and train kitchen staff.
7. Maintain a clean and organise kitchen environment.
8. Assist in cost control and minimising food wastage.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a chef.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Qualifications
Diploma of Hospitality management / Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
