Tanoshi Dubbo Japanese Restaurant is currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Dubbo, NSW.
We are a busy and well-established Japanese restaurant offering dine-in, takeaway and delivery service, known for our high-quality food and friendly service.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Manages, kitchen staff and waiting staff
- Preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine (including sushi, sashimi, tempura, and hot food meals)
- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and food safety compliance
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
🔹 Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Chef
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekend
