We are an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant located in Noble Park, Victoria, with years ofexperience in offering all types of quality and exquisite food at an affordable price. Weoperate 7 days a week on full breakfast, lunch and dinner basis catering our widercommunity by bringing our ever-popular, inspirational Sri Lankan culinary skills to live.We also provide catering services across the community for weddings, birthdays,corporates functions and religious events. We take pride in our service and quality foodhence we would like to hire candidates with great skills, professionalism and workethics. At present we are looking for qualified and experienced Chef to join ourenergetic team.

We are seeking candidates who are deeply passionate about culinary arts andexemplifies leadership with enthusiasm, drive, and meticulous attention to detail. Theideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capableof motivating and developing staff, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.Additionally, the ability to maintain high performance under pressure is essential.
Applicant must have;
Australian trade qualification, Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery (essential)
Diploma of Hospitality Management (Advantage/desired)
2-3 yearss full time local Australian experience in a fast paced kitchen enviornement
Preferences will be also given to applicants having knowledge and experience incooking authentic & traditional Sri Lankan cuisine
Knowledge of modified diets
Key Duties;
· Design and execute creative vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes
· Ensure food quality and freshness and consistency
· Ability to prepare regular menu items, special and allergen requests
· Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food order and select kitchen staff asrequired
· Maintain health and safety regulations
· Manage inventory and kitchen operations
· Experience in planning menus, developing recipes, preparing, cooking andmaintaining food quality
· Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
· Instruct cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing andpresentation of food
· Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
· Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipmentsafely.
· May need to work varied shifts and on weekends
