About the Role
As a Charter and Tour Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company buses, primarily for charter, tour, and regional transport services. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses for charter and tour services, including sightseeing and educational tours
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transit, and disembarking
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate trip records and complete required documentation
- Report vehicle faults, incidents, or maintenance requirements promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles
- Provide courteous and professional service to passengers, including school students, tourists, and elderly passengers
- Assist passengers as needed during trips
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant bus or heavy vehicle driving experience, preferably in charter, tour or regional passenger transport
• Valid Australian HR or MR driver licence
• Valid PTD Authorisation or ability to obtain one in Western Australia
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children Clearance
• Strong understanding of road safety and passenger transport regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings or split shifts
