This Early Learning Victoria centre is a purpose-built centre with 102-places. Full-time preferred but will consider part-time.

About the Role

We’re seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join this exciting new team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll work alongside the Room Leader to create an enriching learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, as well as the National Quality Standards, you’ll contribute to high-quality educational programs and play a vital role in the children’s growth and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Room Leader to deliver engaging and inspiring learning spaces using evidence-based teaching practices.
  2. Contribute to planning and implementing innovative educational programs tailored to children’s development and interests.
  3. Monitor and support children’s progress, ensuring their social, emotional, and cognitive needs are nurtured.
  4. Design thoughtful learning environments that encourage positive interactions and exploration.
  5. Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring all children feel safe and valued.
  6. Demonstrate reflective practice, using feedback to enhance teaching strategies continuously.
  7. Proactively contribute to an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture.

About You

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

  1. A Diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification).
  2. A love for working in a collaborative team culture.
  3. A commitment to building inclusive relationships with children and families, ensuring positive outcomes for the local community.
  4. Flexibility to work within a roster during the service’s operating hours (7 am to 6 pm).
