Position Overview

Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and visionary Director to provide strategic leadership and overall executive management across all facets of the organisation's operations. The Director will serve as the principal decision-maker responsible for driving the company's growth agenda, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding the values and service standards that define Red Bridge Cafe & Restaurant.This is a senior leadership role requiring a commercially astute professional with demonstrated capability in directing organisational strategy, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering measurable business outcomes within the hospitality or a closely related industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Formulate and communicate the overall strategic objectives, operational policies, and long-term programs for Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd, ensuring they are aligned with the commercial aspirations and brand identity of Red Bridge Cafe & Restaurant.
  2. Exercise comprehensive executive oversight and day-to-day management of the organisation, ensuring that all departments — including kitchen operations, front-of-house service, supply chain, and administrative functions — operate cohesively and in alignment with the company's standards and goals.
  3. Approve and allocate material, human, and financial resources required to implement the company's policies and operational programs, ensuring efficient utilisation of assets and sustainable management of the organisation's budget across all areas of the business.
  4. Continuously assess and evaluate the overall performance of Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd against established strategic objectives and key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial measures to sustain and enhance business outcomes.
  5. Engage in regular consultative dialogue with senior subordinate staff including managers and team leaders, reviewing their operational recommendations, reports, and performance outcomes to inform executive decision-making and organisational planning.
  6. Oversee and direct the preparation of comprehensive operational reports, annual budgets, and financial forecasts, and present these documents to the governing body of Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and accountability in all financial communications.
  7. Represent Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd and the Red Bridge Cafe & Restaurant brand at official functions, industry events, forums, negotiations, and community engagements, serving as the principal liaison between the organisation and its external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and areas of operational responsibility.
  8. Lead or formally approve the recruitment and selection process for senior staff positions within the organisation, ensuring that appointments reflect the operational requirements, values, and strategic direction of Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd.
  9. Ensure the organisation's full adherence to the Corporations Act 2001 and all other applicable legislation, regulatory obligations, and industry standards governing hospitality operations in Australia, maintaining robust compliance frameworks across all areas of Five Peaks Group Pty Ltd's business activities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Requirement Details:

Minimum Required Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Commerce, or a closely related field from a recognised tertiary institution.

Relevant Supporting Qualification: A Diploma or advanced certificate in Management, Leadership, Hospitality Operations, or a related discipline will be highly regarded and considered an asset to the candidate's application.

Professional Experience Requirements

  1. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five (5) years of substantive professional experience in a senior executive, directorial, or upper management capacity, ideally within the hospitality, food service, or a related service-driven industry.
