Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum commitment of 38 hours per week. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures made from timber and other materials
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately
- Install doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry and frameworks
- Perform formwork and general carpentry duties
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and project timelines
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times
- Work effectively within a team and communicate with supervisors and clients
- Maintain tools, equipment and clean work areas
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter
- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail and workmanship standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
