Ramgarhia Flooring pty ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter. This is a full time position offering stable employment and opportunities to work on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Read and understand drawings and specifications to work out what materials and measurements are needed
-Select and order the right materials and plan the layout before starting the work
-Measure, cut and put together timber and other materials to build structures
-Build and install frames, doors, windows, flooring systems and other structural parts
-Put together prepared structures/parts and get them ready for installation
-Cut and join wood pieces so they fit together properly
-Repair or replace damaged or worn parts of wooden structures
-Work with different materials such as timber, boards, laminates
Requirements:
-AQF Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
-A relevant Certificate IV qualification will be preferred
-Minimum 12 months of full-time relevant work experience
-Ability to work from plans and technical drawings
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
-Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation
Position: Full Time
