Carpenter

WILL STRUCTURAL SERVICE is a growing company specializing in both carpentry and structural steel works. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team and contribute to a variety of residential, commercial, and structural projects.

Key responsibilities:

·Study drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures

·Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and other materials

·Construct and install frameworks, formwork, partitions, floors, and roofing structures

·Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and structural components

·Erect and dismantle formwork for concrete structures

·Carry out repairs, maintenance, and alterations to existing structures

·Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely

·Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications

·Work collaboratively with carpentry and structural steel teams on integrated projects

Skills required:

·Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

·A minimum of proven 1 year work experience as a Carpenter (Australian work experience is highly regarded)

·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

·Experience in construction, formwork, or structural projects preferred

·Strong attention to detail and workmanship

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·White Card (or relevant safety certification)

·Valid driver’s licence (preferred)

·Mandarin-speaking is advantageous
