Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team located in Chisholm, MN. As a Caregiver, you will provide day-to-day support and assistance to clients, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and independence. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily personal care tasks, administering medications as instructed, preparing meals, supporting mobility, and accompanying clients to appointments or activities. You will also engage clients in recreational activities to promote their physical and mental well-being while maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

  1. Experience with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication administration
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
  3. Ability to provide emotional support, display empathy, and respond calmly to varying client needs
  4. Organizational skills for scheduling, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  5. Knowledge of healthcare practices, first response, or related experience in caregiving preferred
  6. Flexibility to work in a 24/7 roster including actives, on-site schedule and adaptability to the needs of clients
  7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are highly desirable
  8. High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in caregiving or healthcare is advantageous
