Job Description
This Manager / Senior Accountant role will see you managing an established portfolio of SME clients with fees ranging from $600k–$800k .
You will act as the main point of contact for your clients while overseeing compliance work, providing tax planning advice and supporting broader business advisory conversations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing a portfolio of SME and family business clients
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
• Providing tax planning advice including areas such as CGT, FBT and Div 7A
• Acting as a key client contact and building long-term relationships
• Reviewing work prepared by junior accountants and providing guidance
• Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
• 4+ years experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
• Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance and financial reporting
• Confident client communication and relationship management skills
