We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations Manager to formulate business plans, goals, and strategies for the meats products supply division. You will serve as a key contact for all stakeholders in the supply chain, working closely with retailers and clients across all Sydney markets to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand market share and customer base within the meat processing and supply sector.
  2. Determining, implementing, and monitoring purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans to support business growth.
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring the consistent application of supply contract conditions.
  4. Negotiating contracts with suppliers and clients to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements while maximizing profitability.
  5. Liaising with operations departments to align outward meat products and associated forwarding transportation with customer demands and business development goals.
  6. Promoting a working environment where regular interaction, sharing of information, and performance feedback is encouraged.
  7. Acting responsibly for the safety of self and others, as well as the environment.
