In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations Manager to formulate business plans, goals, and strategies for the meats products supply division. You will serve as a key contact for all stakeholders in the supply chain, working closely with retailers and clients across all Sydney markets to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand market share and customer base within the meat processing and supply sector.
- Determining, implementing, and monitoring purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans to support business growth.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring the consistent application of supply contract conditions.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers and clients to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements while maximizing profitability.
- Liaising with operations departments to align outward meat products and associated forwarding transportation with customer demands and business development goals.
- Promoting a working environment where regular interaction, sharing of information, and performance feedback is encouraged.
- Acting responsibly for the safety of self and others, as well as the environment.
