Beauty Therapist

WHITSUNDAY SPA SERVICES PTY LTD t/a Mana Spa Skin Body & Soul is a premium holistic wellness spa and skin clinic located in beautiful Airlie Beach, QLD. Operating with six treatment rooms, we cater to a wide range of clients including local residents as well as the many tourists who visit the Whitsundays.

We offer an extensive menu of services including advanced skin treatments, indulgent spa packages, therapeutic massage, float therapy, and infrared sauna sessions. Our team is committed to providing exceptional client care in a relaxing, professional, and high-quality environment.

We are now seeking a full-time Beauty Therapist to join our growing team.

Position: Beauty Therapist (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

In alignment with the ANZSCO duties for Beauty Therapists, responsibilities include:

1. Performing a wide range of beauty, skin, and body treatments including facials, advanced facials, massage therapies, and body treatments.
2. Conducting thorough client consultations, analysing skin concerns, and advising clients on appropriate treatments, skincare routines, and suitable cosmetic products.
3. Applying make-up for general cosmetic and corrective purposes as required.
4. Providing hair-removal services including waxing, tinting and depilation.
5. Delivering high-quality manicures, pedicures, and general hand and foot treatments (where applicable to service menu).
6. Maintaining accurate client notes, treatment records, and appointment details in accordance with clinic procedures.
7. Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, equipment, and stock to meet hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.
8. Supporting daily spa operations and working collaboratively with the team to maintain a welcoming environment for clients.
9. Providing aftercare recommendations and promoting suitable home-care skincare products.
10. Assisting with bookings, scheduling, and general client service when required.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
2. Strong competency in facials, advanced skincare, massage, and general beauty treatments.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver personalised client consultations.
4. High standard of professionalism, personal presentation, and hygiene.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team in a busy spa environment.
6. A passion for client care, wellness, and maintaining a positive spa experience.

Salary Range

$75,000 – $85,000 per annum (commensurate with experience and skills).
