As a Baker, you will prepare and produce high‑quality baked goods while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent standards across all baking processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, rolls, pies, cakes, and other bakery items
- Following recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
- Mixing doughs, operating bakery equipment, and monitoring baking times and temperatures
- Ensuring all products are presented to a high standard before serving or display
- Maintaining strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food‑safety standards in all work areas
- Assisting with stock rotation, ordering ingredients, and general bakery operations
- Contributing positively to the daily workflow and team environment within the bakery
What we’re looking for
- A formal qualification in baking or relevant commercial bakery experience (1 year minimum)
- Strong technical skills across bread, pastry, and general baking production
- Ability to work independently with excellent time‑management skills
- A proactive, reliable approach with a positive “can‑do” attitude
- Commitment to consistent quality, cleanliness, and professional standards
