Auto Electrician

• Located at Gepps Cross
• On site parking

We are seeking an Auto Electrician to join our growing team. Based at Gepps Cross in our Build Up workshop the role requires  the ability to diagnose, maintain and repair a range of Caterpillar and other manufacturers' machinery / equipment. 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installation, commission and routine service of a range of equipment and machinery within rigid time frames.
• Installation of a range of accessories including but not limited to UHF radios, reverse cameras, GPS monitoring systems and LED lighting arrangements.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electronic vehicle systems.
• Maintenance and repair of a range of earthmoving and construction equipment (including mechanical duties).

Skills and experience required include:

• Relevant trade qualification – Auto Electrical
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current High Risk Forklift Licence
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Experience in a heavy vehicle environment is an advantage.
