Assistant Accountant - NFP
The Company
Our client is a well-known service based provider with over 50 sites across Australia. As a leading not-for-profit provider, this organisation plays a leading role in the community.
Based in their Baulkham Hills office, you will report to a talented Finance Manager who will offer support and strategic mentorship to you and your team. There is 1 day/week working from home available after the initial 2-month training period.
The Role
This Assistant Accountant role is a vital supporting role to the Finance Manager. Starting on a temporary basis with the opportunity for permanent conversion, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Automated AP invoice processing approx. 500/week
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier reconciliations
- Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments
- Assist with year-end
Your Background
To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in a full function Accounts Payable or Assistant Accountant role which includes AP.
You should be on 1 week's notice or less for a temporary position.
Our client is ideally looking to hire a candidate who has prior experience with Dynamics 365 and OCR invoice processing technology.
