The Library is seeking to fill a non-ongoing Information Officer, Service Desk APS 4 role in the Technology Operations Section of the Digital Branch.
This is a non-ongoing role for up to 12 months with the possibility of becoming ongoing.
As the Information Officer, Service desk you will manage and coordinate service desk processes through the resolution of day-to-day service desk enquiries. You will apply your knowledge of a range of applications, cloud platforms and services, computer and mobile device operating systems, printers, and IT infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity to provide your technical expertise to support the National Library’s service desk. As well as showcasing your ability to develop, manage and maintain a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships as well as collaborating with external networks.
Using your IT knowledge and advice, you will:
You will be responsible for preparing documentation, correspondence and reports that conform to legal and procedural aspects of their functional responsibilities.
You will build high level expertise with Library’s information technology stack and infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
Qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Technology would also be preferred.
