About the role

As an Accounts Administrator, you will assist the Finance team with various administrative tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities. You will also handle tasks such as archiving, data entry, and other ad hoc administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the accounts payable and receivable inboxes
  • Daily receipting of funds
  • Process invoices, creditor payments, and expense claims
  • Manage and update the credit card tracking spreadsheet and perform credit card reconciliations
  • Supplier contract management process, including setting up of suppliers in accounting software
  • Reconcile client accounts, issue credit notes, and process client refunds
  • Perform bank reconciliations and banking of cheques when required
  • Conduct general administrative tasks such as scanning, archiving, and maintaining efficient processes

Relevant skills

  • Previous experience as an Accounts Administrator is highly desirable 
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts and practices 
  • Experience with MYOB Software is a plus not essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel) 
  • General bookkeeping skills
