Freskin is part of the VR Beauty Group, a rapidly growing beauty and wellness enterprise operating multiple clinics across Sydney, including Chatswood, Burwood, Macquarie Park, Sydney CBD, Castle Hill, and Hornsby. The group manages several related entities and employs a diverse team across operations, training, IT, and customer service functions.
Due to continued expansion and increasing financial and compliance requirements, the business is transitioning from outsourced accounting services to an in-house finance function to better support strategic growth and operational control.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of multiple entities within the group and supporting management with accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets across multiple entities
- Managing day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll oversight, and reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with Australian taxation obligations including BAS, GST, PAYG, and income tax
- Analysing financial performance and providing strategic recommendations to management
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Supporting business expansion activities including new entity setup and financial structuring
- Implementing and improving internal financial systems and controls
- Supervising the accounts data-entry work by branch based admin clerk/book-keepers.
- Report to CEO on a monthly basis.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience managing accounts for multi-entity or group structures (highly desirable)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
