Join a leading water treatment solutions provider and play a key role in supporting essential services across Western Australia. We're seeking an experienced and driven Account Service Representative to support operations at customer sites, helping to maintain high standards of service, safety, and technical performance.
In this client-facing role, you'll work hands-on at various industrial sites, ensuring water treatment systems operate efficiently and safely. You'll provide technical support, carry out preventative maintenance, monitor operational data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Safety, Ethics & Conduct:
- Ensure Compliance with all regulatory, customer & company policies through daily ethical conduct
- Challenge & Influence others on safety & compliance standards
- Ensure all customer documentation is captured & maintained in appropriate databases
- Maintain professional and healthy inter-personnel relationships internally and externally
Account Service Representative Services:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting utilising internal technical specialists where required; maintain service-related documentation.
- Review all water test results and chemical consumption figures monthly and summarise test results. Respond effectively to 'out of KPI' results.
- Sample and conduct analytical tests. Enter results into an online chemistry/data management system and send regular reports to customer. Analyse and interpret data.
- On-going maintenance of all chemicals storage and dosing equipment including supply of spare parts and replacement of pumps, if required.
- Monitor and assess plant operational data (including manual water analysis and online parameters from analyzers) and provide feedback to Customer and Account / Region Manager.
- Identify new applications/technologies to drive increased revenues for the company within existing accounts serviced by yourself as well as help uncover opportunities outside of your immediate customer base.
- Identify value generation projects for the account and assist the Account Manager in implementing such value projects
- Maintenance of Site Manual and Technical procedures and documents
- Address customer issues in a timely manner to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
- Deliver continuous improvement to service activities and stand-in for Account Manager, if required
Preferred Background & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, or a relevant trade background
- Proven experience in water and wastewater treatment, or technical service/sales to industrial clients is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time to client sites across WA
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider technical team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with computer literacy as well
- A valid Australian driver's licence
