Your new role
As an Account Executive, you will manage and service a predominantly commercial portfolio, working closely with clients who value strong technical broking and ongoing advisory support.The client base spans a range of complex and engaging industries, including manufacturing, construction, commercial property, professional services and franchise operations. You will play a hands-on role in renewals, risk placement strategies, insurer negotiations and client advisory discussions, supported by a collaborative internal team.

  • Manage a portfolio of mid-market commercial clients, acting as a trusted advisor across all aspects of their insurance and risk programmes
  • Lead renewal processes endtoend, including risk analysis, placement strategy, market negotiations and delivery of client recommendations
  • Work closely with clients to understand their operations, exposures and growth objectives, providing tailored, technically sound insurance solutions
  • Prepare high-quality underwriting submissions and engage insurers to secure optimal terms and coverage structures
  • Provide ongoing advisory support throughout the policy lifecycle, including endorsements, claims support and coverage reviews
  • Collaborate with internal broking, technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to bestpractice processes.
  • Maintain strong insurer relationships and stay informed on market trends, capacity changes and emerging risks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, documentation and system requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have proven experience of insurance broking, ideally within the commercial mid-market or technically complex risk space.
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance products and placement strategies is essential, along with the ability to build trusted, advisorybased client relationships.
  • You will be motivated, proactive and committed to developing your technical skill set within a business that expects high standards of professionalism and client care.
